I heard her song last night while scrolling and her performance on America’s Got Talent where Simon gave her the special ‘Gold Buzzer’! Amazing!!!

I just found her, and I shared this inspirational song with my friends and family; a little gift before bed. The following day my cousin texted me back that he had heard the song when he was fighting for his life in the hospital recovering from a mini-stroke and heart complications.
(my cousin will have a complete recovery)
He shared that Jane, aka Nightbirde, passed away recently from a 5-year struggle with cancer earlier this year!
Ugh, such a loss…
Nightbirde is, was, and continues to be such a bright star in a dim sky. Her words, voice, and song will light us all up and shine on, showing us a way to joy. This song and story is a perfect reminder to me of the impermanence of life.
The explosions of beauty and grace we see when someone finds their true passion and reason for living. We witness the positive changes they encourage when they give willingly and feverously of their energy, gifts, and love.
Yes, we can be a little lost; being lost is part of the journey. Getting lost is the path to learning, growing, and discovery, and it’s OK!
